Do you have a location where I can pick up my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We are open 6 days a week.  We are closed on Mondays and are open Tuesdays-Sundays.  For hours and location visit our contact page.
Please note we are closed on National Holidays.

Do I have to pre-order or can I drop in and make my purchase?

We’d love for you to stop by and place an order in person—we enjoy meeting each and every one of our customers! While not every item is available every day, you'll find grab-and-go cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, bars, tarts, and prepackaged sweet treats are ready for daily enjoyment. We do our best to have all items available, but due to popularity and demand, we can’t always guarantee a specific cake on a given day. To ensure you get exactly what you want, we encourage placing a pre-order.

We have many gluten free desserts.  Many are available for daily purchase, however certain items such as GF cakes and GF cookie cakes must be pre-ordered due to their shelf life.

Do you ship orders?

Not at this time.  All orders are for local pick-up. Third party delivery is available at check out.

What is your refund policy?

Cancellations/Refunds as follows:
More than a 7 day notice of cancellation- Full Refund
4-7 days notice of order cancellation: 50% Refund
Less than a 4 days notice: No Refund

Do you have items for special diets or food allergies?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Finding delicious desserts for those with dietary restrictions or allergies is what inspired us to open Sweet Elements.  You will find dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free items throughout our menu, just look for the icon.  If you have a special restriction, please do not hesitate to ask.  We are happy to help you find something off our menu or perhaps create a special dessert especially for you.

Are all of your ingredients organic and/or non-GMO?

Not yet. We do our very best to use organic and non-GMO ingredients whenever possible. In some cases, an ingredient may not be available.  We’re always on the lookout for the highest-quality ingredients for our desserts.

Question 7

How far in advance should I place my order?

Accepted Answer

Small orders may be filled for same day pickup.  However, availability may be limited during busy times and on the weekends.  
We suggest placing your order as soon as possible to ensure it can be fulfilled for your desired date and time. We can only fulfill a limited number of orders each week, therefore we book on a first come, first serve basis.  For larger and specialty orders, a 14 day notice is required.

Are you a nut & gluten free bake shop?

Accepted Answer

No.  Our kitchen handles dairy, gluten, and tree nut ingredients.  Even though we take great care to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that some products will be completely free of these allergens.

How should I store my baked goods?

All our products are baked fresh from scratch with no preservatives. We recommend keeping cakes, cupcakes, and cookies with fillings in the refrigerator overnight.  Gluten-free items are best consumed within 2-3 days of purchasing. Our baked treats are best enjoyed within 1-2 days.  If kept longer they should be wrapped in plastic, and stored in an airtight container in the fridge, up to a week or the freezer up to a month.  When bringing cookies to room temperature, allow 30 – 60 minutes before enjoying. Allow cakes 1-2 hours to reach room temperature. Let products that have been frozen 2-4 hours to thaw and bring to room temperature. Always remove plastic wrap from frozen products immediately after taking out of the freezer.
